Privacy Policy
This page is for the website, estimate forms, the seasonal checklist, and ads I may run on Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube. It is not a job contract.
I am Yasha Lange. I own and run Lange Contracting. If you send a form, call, or text, I am the person who reads it.
What I collect
You type it, on this site or on an ad form:
- Name
- Phone
- Email, if you give one
- City or ZIP
- The job and when you need it
- Whether it is okay to text you first
The seasonal checklist page may also take a name and email if you want the one-page list sent to you.
The site may also see basic technical data through the host (Cloudflare): pages viewed, browser, and a spam check on the form.
If I run ads, the ad platforms may also see that you watched a video, clicked an ad, or opened a page — see Ads below.
I do not ask for a card on this site. I do not take payment through the form.
Why I collect it
- To text or call you back about the estimate
- To know the city and the job so I can tell you if I take that work
- To keep a record of what you asked for
- If you opt in on the seasonal checklist page, to email that list a few times a year
- If you came from an ad, to know the ad worked and to show the ad to people like you — not to sell your name
I do not sell your name, phone, or email. I do not rent the list. I do not send your job to a lead mill or to other contractors.
Texts
The estimate form says I text back myself. If you check “Text me first,” or you ask for a text on an ad form, you are asking me to text that number about this job.
That is a job text, not a blast list.
Reply STOP and I stop. Reply HELP or call (913) 717-8289 if a text does not make sense. Carrier rates may apply.
I do not add estimate numbers to a seasonal or marketing text list unless you ask. An ad click is not permission for marketing texts.
Seasonal email list
The seasonal checklist page is separate from a job request.
If you opt in there, I may email you the checklist and a reminder when the next season hits. Four notes a year is the plan. Not weekly.
A Facebook or YouTube lead for an estimate is not an email-list signup. I will not add an ad lead to the seasonal list unless that form has its own unchecked box.
You can leave the list by the unsubscribe link in the email, by replying STOP, or by calling or texting (913) 717-8289.
Ads — Facebook, Instagram, and YouTube
I may run ads for free estimates and the work I actually do: doors, trim, filters, fixtures, and small home repair in the Kansas City area.
Ads may send you to this website or collect a short form inside Facebook or Instagram (a lead ad). YouTube ads send you to this website or a video.
What those platforms get
If I turn on their tools — Meta Pixel or Conversions API, Google/YouTube tag, or conversion tracking — they can receive:
- That you saw or clicked an ad
- That you opened a page on langecontracting.com
- That you sent an estimate form (a “lead” event)
- Device and browser data the platform uses to measure the ad
- If I turn on advanced matching, a hashed (scrambled) version of email or phone so they can tell if the ad led to a form. They do not get a raw list from me to blast
I use that to count whether an ad was worth the money, stop showing the ad to people who already wrote in, and find more homeowners in Johnson and Wyandotte Counties who look like the people who write in.
I do not use ad tools to collect health data, social security numbers, or card numbers.
Lead ads on Facebook or Instagram
If you submit a form inside Facebook or Instagram, Meta collects what you typed and gives it to me. I use it the same way as the website form: to call or text you about that estimate.
The privacy link on that form points here. Same rules as the site form. Job follow-up only, unless you check a separate box.
How to limit ads
- Meta: facebook.com/settings?tab=ads
- Google / YouTube: adssettings.google.com
- Industry opt-out: optout.aboutads.info
That changes ads on those platforms. It does not delete a job request you already sent me. For that, call or text (913) 717-8289.
Who else sees it
The website and form run on Cloudflare. The spam check (Turnstile) and basic visit stats run through them.
If ads are on, Meta Platforms and Google (YouTube / Google Ads) see the ad events described above.
I may use a normal email or sheet to keep requests so I do not lose them. I share a name, phone, or address with a helper or supplier only when the job needs it. I share information if the law requires it.
How long I keep it
Job requests stay long enough to finish the conversation and the work, and for ordinary records. Seasonal list names stay until you opt out or the list is shut down. Ad platform data follows that platform’s own retention.
Ask me to delete a request or pull you off the list and I will do it, unless I have to keep a record of work already done.
Your choices
You can ask what I have on you, ask me to fix it, ask me to delete a lead or pull you off the seasonal list, reply STOP to texts, or use the ad settings links above. I handle those requests myself. Call or text (913) 717-8289.
Kids
This site and these ads are for adult homeowners. They are not for children under 13.
Changes
If this page changes, the date at the top changes. If I add a pixel or a new ad form, this page will name it.
